about
‘Easy Going’ is a song about calling yourself out on the bullshit cynical outlook you have in your life. It’s written as an almost diary-like self reflection. It serves as a reminder that while it’s easy to be negative and victimise yourself, you’re not going to get where you want by doing that, so cut it out. While this sounds quite heavy, it’s brought to you as a danceable track with hints of sarcasm. Who said an existential crisis can’t be fun?
